I began my industrial design career in 2005, mainly working for manufacturers of both architectural and custom lighting products. After 12 years of projects ranging from shopping centers to well known theme parks, it was time for a change. In 2017, I took an opportunity to be a partner in a powder coating business which offered a reprieve from the world of lighting world. However, it also led to numerous contacts in various other realms of custom manufacturing. I soon found myself drawn back to the designing and started my own home-based studio, Skewd Design. Since starting Skewd Design, I have not only continued designing and engineering for various lighting manufacturers but have expanded to more eclectic fields such as: furniture lines, electric scooter manufacturers, clothing, and brand/identity design.
